Ducati at its annual World Premier event uncovered the much-awaited super naked Streetfighter V4.
The Italian home brand Ducati at its annual Ducati World Premier finally broke down covers from the Ducati Streetfighter V4, the bike was teased recently this year at the 2019 Pikes Peak Club in the USA since then has been the much-awaited and anticipated bike from the Ducati. The Streetfighter V4 which is a naked bike and one of first in its segment to breach the 208 Ps is a true legend based on Panigale V4 which shook the world by its abilities and performance. This super naked is powered by a 1,103cc V4 motor mated to a 6-speed transmission unit that is supported by a liquid-cooled technology tweaked to offer a power of 208 Ps at 12,705rpm with a torque of 123Nm at 11,500rpm which makes it the number in the world to produce such impressive performance result from a naked motorcycle.
The Panigale V4 with the absence of its fairing and the same chassis bolted on the V4 motor is what makes the Streetfighter V4 creation looks like, where the Kerb weight of this bike is about 201 kilograms. The bike also gets its signature looking V-shaped LED DRLs which sits on headlamps that were also seen on the Ducati Supersport gives the bike an aggressive alien-like look to it. The front of the bike is totally new the fuel tank and the tailpiece of the Streetfighter is same as that on the Panigale V4, the bike also claims to have winglets that are supposed to help on tracks with better stability, performance and thus reducing electric interventions and allowing the rider to brake late. Ducati offers a 43mm Showa upside-down fork on the front and a Sachs mono-shock on the rear of which both are completely adjustable with featuring a Sachs steering damper. The braking system on this super naked bike is governed by Brembo Style Monobloc calipers with 330mm and 245mm discs on the front and rear respectively.
The Streetfighter V4s features various technological advancements and Ducati has impressed us by stepping up its game with the technology on its bikes where it offers a fantastic switchable riding system from Race, Sport, and Street modes. Moreover, the bike has 6 axis IMU system with Cornering ABS EVO electronic aids such as the latest generation traction control EVO 2, Quik shift up and down, Engine brake control EVO and much more which can all be controlled through few clicks of buttons and switched on the handlebar itself.
It is only about time that we wait for the bike to come to India, lay our own hands on it and test it to its finest which we hope will be anytime next year in 2020.
