2020 Honda Activa 6G Launched

The 6th generation Honda Activa has been unveiled and it's prices start from INR 65,535/- ex-showroom, Mumbai.


Japanese 2-wheeler manufacturer, Honda, has finally launched the 6th generation of its best-selling scooter, the Activa. The new Activa 6G will be available in 2 variants - Standard and Deluxe, along with a total of 6 colour options: Pearl Spartan Red, Dazzle Yellow Metallic, Black, Pearl Precious White, Matte Axis Grey Metallic and the all-new Glitter Blue Metallic. Prices for this scooter start from INR 65,535 (ex-showroom, Mumbai) for the Standard variant and go up to INR 67,035 (ex-showroom, Mumbai) for the Deluxe variant. Bookings for the Activa 6G have already begun and deliveries are expected to commence in the next few weeks.

In terms of features, the all-new Activa 6G comes equipped with a 3-step rear adjustable suspension, a new LED DC Headlamp, an engine start-stop switch, a multi-function switch, a double-lid external fuel fill, a new front telescopic suspension, a new silent-start ACG motor, a programmed fuel injection system and a couple of more interesting new features. The Activa 6G now gets a new 109cc BS-VI compliant engine, which produces over 7.7 HP at 8,000 rpm and about 8.79 Nm of peak torque at 5,250 rpm. Also, this new engine continues to be paired with Honda’s popular CVT transmission for a smooth and efficient ride.

Talking about dimensions, the new Activa 6G is 1833 mm long, 697 mm wide and 1156 mm tall. Apart from this, the scooter also gets a long wheelbase of 1260 mm and a best-in-segment ground clearance of 171 mm. The seat of the new Activa 6G is now 692 mm long and the scooter weighs over 107 kgs (Kerb). Also, the fuel tank capacity stands at 5.3-litres. Both front and rear wheels get tubeless tires and drum brakes. The new front telescopic suspension and 3-step adjustable rear suspension also add up to make this scooter one of the best in its segment.
