Honda launched the new Gold Wing Tour in India with a price tag starting from Rs 37.20 lakh. Deliveries are scheduled to begin from July 2021 onwards. The Honda Gold Wing features a striking look that features all-LED lights and LED fog lamps. Honda has also redesigned the pillion seat for enhanced comfort. The bike’s luggage carrying capacity has also gone up utilizing a bigger top box.
The 2021 Honda Gold Wing Tour will be available in two colors. The manual is available in Pearl Glare White while the DCT gets an attractive Gunmetal black and Matte Morion Black color scheme.
Honda has two variants to offer: The standard Tour model that has a six-speed manual transmission, and the other one with the 7-speed DCT and airbag at Rs 39.16 lakh (ex-showroom, Gurugram).
The Gold Wing Tour gets a flat-six, liquid-cooled engine, that has a displacement of 1,833cc. This engine can produce 126hp at 5,500rpm and 170Nm at 4,500rpm. Honda has also upgraded the dual-clutch automatic transmission hardware and software to improve low-speed rideability. As for the electronics, the Gold Wing gets traction control, cruise control, and Hill Start Assist. It also has four ride modes, which include Tour, Sport, Econ, and Rain.
Honda has provided a 7-inch TFT display that features Bluetooth connectivity, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The BS6 model also gets an upgraded sound system, with 45-watt speakers. There is also the presence of two Type-C USB ports . Those who are interested can either book their Honda Gold Wing online or from Honda’s premium BigWing showrooms.
