Korean car manufacturer, Kia, finally updated its logo in the Indian market. Now, they have gone ahead and launched the updated versions of their most best-selling models; the Seltos and Sonet. Starting at 9.95 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the new Seltos now gets a bunch of new upgrades and Kia's brand new logo.
Variant wise features and price
HTE - This is the only variant that was not lucky enough to get any of the new features added to the other trims. The HTE variant continues to carry forward all of the same features at the price of Rs 9,95,000 for the petrol variant and 10,45,000 for the diesel variant with all other features remaining the same.
HTK - Addition of wireless phone projection feature to the infotainment system.
Priced at Rs 10,74,000 for the petrol variant and Rs 11,79,000 for the diesel variant.
HTK+ - All the features from the HTK get carried forward, along with features such as Smart-key with remote engine start. The iMT variant also gets features such as Beige fabric seats, Sunroof with LED roof lamp, Automatic climate control with silver garnish. Price starts at Rs 11,79,000 for the petrol manual variant and Rs 12,19,000 for the iMT petrol variant. The diesel variant is priced at Rs 12,99,000, while the automatic is priced at Rs 13,95,000.
HTX - This variant gets features such as an Air purifier with ‘virus and bacteria’ protection, ability to open and close Sunroof with the usage of AI voice commands, driver-side window, wind direction control, defroster control, air intake control, Over-the-Air (OTA) map updates, Brake Assist, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), Hill-start assist and Vehicle Stability Management. The manual variant is priced at Rs 13,65,000, while the diesel variant will cost you Rs 14,75,000.
HTX+ - The HTX+ variant only gets an additional Gentle Brown leatherette seat option along with the other features from the HTX variant. The HTX+ variant is only available with a manual diesel option and is priced at Rs 15,79,000
GTX (O) – This variant gets the Black and beige sports leatherette seats and is priced at Rs 15,35,000.
GTX+ - This variant gets the Paddle Shifters and is priced at INR 16,65,000 for the manual variant, while the 7-speed DCT will set you back by Rs 17,44,000.
