Toyota is all set to launch the next-gen Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 globally on June 9, 2021. This Toyota SUV is based on the new TNGA-based platform and comes with new tech and features than its predecessor. We have some details regarding this upcoming SUV, thanks to the leaks and rumours.
As for the design, Toyota Land Cruiser L300 has adopted a similar design language that we saw in LC200, it carries the same boxy and upright proportions. What has changed is the addition of new headlamps, a more prominent grille, and a secondary U-shaped vent that run along the edge of the grille. There are also the fog lamps set low on the bumper.
The all-new Toyota land Cruiser also comes with a new GR Sport variant that will get variant-specific cosmetic changes in the grille and bumpers part. New features and technologies include a fingerprint recognition-based engine ignition, a new Dynamic Suspension System, and many more.
Under the hood, the leaks point out to a new V6 petrol and diesel engines. The petrol unit is said to be a new 3.5-liter, twin-turbo V6, outputting 415hp and 650Nm. As for the diesel engine, it will be a 3.3-liter V6 unit outputting 306hp and 700Nm. We are hoping to see Four-wheel-drive as a standard and a hybrid variant too.
In India, Toyota is currently selling the Land Cruiser LC200 and the Land Cruiser Prado for a few years. Even though there aren’t any kinds of official confirmations regarding the LC300 coming to India, we can hope that it will come to India after its global launch.
