Aston Martin has revealed the limited-run Aston Martin Vantage Roadster with unique design cues to mark the 100th anniversary of the A3. The brand’s oldest surviving sportscar.
Aston Martin will only produce three examples. The design will have bespoke flourishes that are inspired by the 1921 model, including a black grille with aluminum surround, black exterior paint, and also gets a 20-inch forged black wheel with bronze brake calipers.
Inside, there is the Chestnut tan leather and stitching feature with the marque's name embroidered in a heritage-inspired script, just as the one in the original.
The Vantage’s gauge surrounds have also been cast from brass, and the original-design Aston Martin logo can be seen throughout.
Under the hood, there is the 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged Mercedes-AMG V8 engine that produces 510hp and 685Nm.
The engine comes with 8-speed automatic gearbox. And can reach from 0-100kph in around 3.5sec and can even hit the top speed of 306kph.
The British marque had launched the Vantage in India back in 2018. At that time, it was launched for the price starting at Rs 2.95 crore.
The brand also recently launched the Aston Martin DBX SUV in India, with a starting price of Rs 3.82 crore. The Aston Martin Vantage Roadster A3 won’t be making its way to India.
