The Panigale V2 is an entry-level super sports bike that was recently unveiled at the Ducati World Premier 2019.

The Ducati, Italian motorcycle manufacture unveiled not only one but 3 motorcycles at the annual Ducati World Premier 2019, the Streetfighter V4, Multistrada 1260 GT, and the Panigale V2. The designers and engineers in Italy at the Ducati seems very busy, as they have managed to deliver such high quality and magnificent pieces of art and technology in these motorcycles where the super naked Streetfighter V4 is the world’s first to breach the 200ps. Speaking of which the Panigale V2 is an entry-level super sports bike in the line-up, most of the design elements get it from its parent the Panigale V4 and the Panigale 959, the only difference is the silencer which is a single, compact and placed beneath the engine.

The Panigale V2 comes powered with a 955cc Twin cylinder Superquadro producing a maximum power of 155hp at 10,750rpm and a torque of 104Nm at 9000rpm, when compared to the Panigale 959 the Panigale V2 delivers an additional power of 5hp and 2Nm torque. The Panigale V2’s Monocoque frame has a wheelbase of 1,436mm, it gets an adjustable 43mm Showa Big Piston Fork at the front and the Sachs Monoshock on the rear. Braking on this bike is governed by the Brembo M4.32 monobloc caliper, on the front, the Panigale features a 320mm disc whereas a 245mm single caliper disc on the rear. Pirelli’s world-class track performance tires with road versatility makes it a perfect fit for the Panigale V2,it gets a 5 spoke setup with a 3.5 inch (120/70 ZR17) wheel on the front and a 5.5 inch (180/60 x ZR17) wheel on the rear both of which runs on the Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II tires.

Being a Ducati, the Panigale V2 comes loaded with electronics such as the 6-axis IMU assisted suite, the bike also gets a bunch of features such as cornering ABS technology, Ducati Traction Control (DCT), anti-wheelie, engine brake control, bi-directional shifter and about 3 modes of different rides (Street, Sport, and Race); all of which is controlled on a 4.3 inch instrument cluster.

The Panigale V2 is a Euro-5 complaint that makes it a perfect fit for the Indian market as it will also fit in with the new emission norms regulated by our government. This super sports bike will set its tires in India anytime next year that is in 2020.
