It seems that Harley-Davidson has pretty much made up its mind to enter into the small capacity of motorcycle category. A few months back it showcased the sketches of a motorcycle with a 338cc parallel-twin motor called 338R. But now another set of images leaked shows a new motorcycle fitted with a 296cc V-twin liquid-cooled engine called the SRV 300. It is based on QJ350 of QJMotors, the Chinese manufacturer that joined hands with Harley-Davidson Motor Company in 2019.
Unlike the 338R's naked design language, the SRV 300 inherits Harley-Davidson's traditional cruiser styling elements like-the round headlamp, beefed up tank, lurch wheels(16-inch front and 15-inch rear), dual exhaust pipes, short seat, and belt drive. However, it does get some modern treatment like all-LED headlights and indicators. The instrument cluster is also expected to be a digital unit.
The 296cc V-twin motor is expected to make around 30hp and have a top speed of about 129kmph. The motorcycle will majorly target the Asian market.
