Husqvarna Motorcycles Announce Their Entry Into The EV Space With The E-Pilen Concept

Popular Swedish motorcycle manufacturer, Husqvarna Motorcycles, recently announced that they will be entering the electric mobility category. Along with this announcement they have also announced their first all-electric bike, the E-Pilen concept. With this new entry, Husqvarna will be entering the 2-wheeler EV space and will rival popular motorcycle brands, which have also decided to produce zero-emission vehicles.

Talking about specs and performance, the E-Pilen is powered by an 11 HP motor and gets a total range of around 100 kilometres. Husqvarna has designed the E-Pilen mainly for urban commuters and leisure riders. As of now Husqvarna still hasn’t decided which type of battery solutions they will be offering, as they are keeping their options open and are willing to give equal opportunities for both fixed and swappable battery solutions.

As of now, we don’t know when we will see the E-Pilen concept on the streets and in the public. But, Husqvarna has confirmed that more updates regarding their upcoming strategies and development on the E-Pilen concept will be released to the public soon.
