Jaguar has opened bookings for their new F-Pace SVR in India, as the launch is pretty imminent. Jaguar had recently launched their high-performance SUV, the standard F-Pace in India. With the SVR variant, it gets several cosmetic updates to the exterior and a heavily revised cabin along with some mechanical tweaks.
The F-Pace SVR gets a new bonnet and sleeker light clusters. The SVR also gets model-specific sportier changes like larger wheels, more aggressive bumpers. The revised interior gets an 11.4-inch touchscreen running JLR’s Pivi pro system, digital dials with SVR-specific graphics, an SVR-specific drive modes selector, and variant-specific trim and upholstery.
The SVR also gets updates under the hood. It now comes with a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 petrol engine that produces 550hp and 700Nm and comes with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The new variant also gets changes to the suspension and steering for enhanced dynamics. Along with drive modes and revised software with additional modes.
The brakes are also now been recalibrated. Jaguar claims that this SUV can get to 100kph at 4.0 seconds with a top speed of 286kph.
With a price starting at Rs 69,99,000, the current Jaguar F-Pace competes against the Land Rover Range Rover Velar, BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Porsche Macan, Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, and BMW X3.
As for the price of the F-Pace SVR, it will be almost certain that the price will be higher than the current F-Pace as it has a new interior and revised engine under the hood.
