Royal Enfield Patents ‘Scram’ Nameplate: Launching Soon?

Royal Enfield is having a range of motorcycles in the pipeline is to be unveiled later this year. Recently, the Chennai-based retro bike maker registered the 'Scram' nameplate. Today, we will be looking at every possibility and what to expect from this upcoming Royal Enfield bike.

The name Scram could be a shorter version for Scrambler. As rumors are suggesting that Royal Enfield is developing a 350 cc scrambler-oriented model. But this is currently referred to as the Hunter 350. There are also hints suggesting that this bike could be also the bigger capacity variant of Himlayan.

If it is true, then this variant of Himalayan is expected to sit at a higher position than the existing model.

If we believe in rumors, this upcoming Royal Enfield could utilize the 650 Twins platform. This is the same one currently used in the latest generation of the Interceptor INT 650 and as well as in the Continental GT 650. But if there is ever a bigger Himalayan is under development, then it will most likely come under the same 'Himalayan' nameplate.


We can also expect The Royal Enfield Scram could also be a 350 cc model, based on the J-platform. This is the same platform used for the Meteor 350 and 2021 Classic 350. We are still months away from any official reveals, so stay tuned to AutoDailyIndia for more updates.
