Royal Enfield's Upcoming Cruiser 'Meteor 350' Set To Launch on 6th November

Recently Royal Enfield grabbed everyone's attention by testing their upcoming products on Indian roads. Names like Hunter, Sherpa, Meteor, and their spy shots were spreading around like wildfire. But, Now Royal Enfield has officially announced the launch date of its Cruiser segment Motorcycle 'Meteor 350' to be on the 6th of November.

Meteor 350 is going to be the substitute for Royal Enfield's recently discontinued Thunderbird 350X.

According to Royal Enfield, the silhouette and stance of Meteor 350 are inspired by their previous cruiser motorcycle the Lightning 535 and Escape 500. As per the leaked brochure, Meteor will be running upon a 350cc air-cooled long-stroke engine churning out 20.5bhp and 27Nm of peak torque. There will be a new transmission on offer for sleeker shifts with a lighter clutch.

Meteor 350 will be available in 3 trims- Fireball, Stellar, and Supernova. Also, Meteor 350 will be featured with a 'Tripper Navigation', which is the company's official name for a Bluetooth-enabled GPS, as a standard feature, and for the first time, we could see a gear position indicator as well.

The motorcycle will come with a round halogen headlight, along with LED DRLs running along the circumference of the headlight. Overall Meteor's design and features make it a modern classic cruiser. The good news for all Royal Enfield's fans is that the bike will retain the original RE thumbing exhaust note. The Meteor 350 will be made available in seven body colours - Fireball Yellow, Fireball Red, Stellar Red Metallic, Stellar Black Matte, Stellar Blue Metallic, Supernova Brown, and Supernova Blue.

The motorcycle will lock its horns with the JAWA motorcycles, Benelli Imperiale 400 and Honda H'ness CB 350. The motorcycle is expected to be priced between Rs 1.60 lakh and Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom).
