Italian sports bike manufacturer, Ducati, recently launched the Streetfighter V4 & V4 S in India. These bikes originally premiered about 2 years ago and went on sale in the European market by the end of 2019. Prices for the V4 series start from INR 19.99 Lakh (ex-showroom, India) and go up to INR 22.99 Lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the sportier V4 S. Design
The new Ducati Streetfighter V4 & V4 S is based on the company’s flagship supersport model, the Panigale V4. The front alludes to the Panigale with the sleek LED headlamps and DRLs. The company stated in a very metaphorical way that the Streetfighter's body design is inspired by the Joker's grin. It is built to be more adequate for the city/country roads than other sports bikes built by the company, as it includes wide handlebars and duly padded seats. Multiple aerodynamic elements make sure that this road-friendly bike, can also handle track speeds with ease.
Features
Talking about features, the Ducati Streetfighter V4 and V4 S get a five-inch TFT screen panel with all vital readable details. This instrument allows the rider to select between multiple riding modes along with other electronic assistances like a traction control system. The bike also gets the Ducati Management System (DMS) built-in, as the TFT panel screen can be connected to a smartphone to provide the rider with more utilities like incoming calls, text messages, music, etc.
Specifications
The bike has a 1,103cc four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which produces 208 HP and 123 Nm of maximum torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and can help the bike attain a top speed of up to 299 kmph.
Safety Features
The Streetfighter V4's safety features include two 330 mm front and a single 245 mm rear Brembo disc brakes. The bike also gets three riding modes, DTC (Ducati Traction Control System), DWC (Ducati Wheelie Control) system, DSC (Ducati Slide Control) system, EBC (Engine Brake Control), etc.
Colour Options
In terms of colour options, the Streetfighter V4 will be available only in the Ducati Red colour, while the sportier V4 S will get the optional Dark Stealth (Black) colour option for an extra 20,000 rupees.
