Yamaha has recently announced their new Yamaha FZ-X in the Indian market. We will be looking at the top 5 features of The new Yamaha FZ-X so that you could make a proper decision.
1. Design
In the design section, Yamaha FZ-X has gone with a retro look with a circular LED headlamp, that can also act as a Daytime Running Light within unique aluminum brackets around it. It also features a teardrop-style fuel tank, single-piece tuck and roll seat, underbelly cowl, and blackened body panels. And for the rear, there is also an LED tail lamp.
2. Riding improvements
To improve the riding experience, Yamaha has a relaxed handlebar position, thus providing an upright riding posture for the rider, and also comes with a block pattern MRF REVZ tires. Yamaha has continued to include telescopic front forks, single-channel ABS, mono-shock rear suspension, black alloy wheels, and so on.
3. Features
Yamaha FZ-X now features an LCD instrument cluster that has Bluetooth integration with the Yamaha Motorcycles connect app.

With this, riders will be able to enjoy a lot of features such as displaying call alert, SMS, email notifications, phone battery level, recording details about the fuel consumption, maintenance recommendation, last parked location, malfunction notification, rev dashboard, and ranking with other FZ-X users regarding the total distance traveled and millage. Other features include a USB charger, single-channel ABS, and a side-stand engine cut-off function.
4. Engine
FZ-X packs a 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 12.2bhp at 7,250rpm and 13.3Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm. The motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox and also has an electric motor, that will give the scooter instant power when needed.
5. Pricing
The Yamaha FZ-X is available in 2 variants and three color schemes: Metallic Blue, Matt Copper, and Matt Black. The price and variants are as follows:
Yamaha FZ-X Non-Bluetooth variant - Rs. 1,16,800
Yamaha FZ-X Bluetooth Variant - Rs. 1,19,800
