Updated Dacia Duster Revealed

Renault-owned Dacia has revealed their updated second-gen Duster SUV. The new 2022 Duster receives light restyling to bring it in line with newer models like the latest-gen Sandero.

Upfront, there is a new Y-shaped headlight design with a chrome grille mark.

For the first time, Dacia Duster also gets LED front indicators, which are more efficient. Ther is also an all New aero-optimized 15-inch and 16-inch wheels options and spoiler designs, along with new wheel bearings.

The tires and the more efficient lights are said to help cut CO2 emissions by 5.8g/km on the four-wheel-drive Duster. As for the interior, Dacia has a lightly revamped interior with design with inputs from Dacia customers.

This time Dacia has added new materials and a redesigned center console with a 1.1-liter storage cubby, along with an 8.0-inch touchscreen with smartphone integration as standard.

Under the hood, the updated Duster will use a range of petrol and diesel engines, varying according to the region.


Renault currently sells the first-generation of Duster in the Indian market. Even though the Duster was successful in India, Renault currently has no plans to bring the second generation of Duster to India as the brand is currently focusing on CMF modular platform-based models like the Kiger, Kwid, and the Triber.
