Yamaha Today unveiled the new FZ-X through the online event today at a starting price of Rs 1,16,800 for the base variant and 1,19,800 for the variant with Y Connect features.
The new Yamaha FZ-X has been designed specifically for India with a neo-retro design with a touch of muscular elements. At the front, there are circular LED headlights that can also function as DRL and comes in Matt copper, metallic blue, matt black color.
At the rear, there is a sleek LED taillight and below the bike, Yamaha has also provided a Sturdy under-cowl. As for comfort, the new FZ-X comes with a two-level seat with Tuck and Roll, provided upright handle position and power socket for mobile charging. Yamaha has also provided Telescopic suspension with front fork boots.
Other features include a side stand cut-off switch, LCD display, ABS, and block pattern tires. There is also a variant that comes with Yamaha's Y connect capability, with this app Customers can get SMS alerts, mobile battery status, calling alert, connection status on the LCD display. The app also helps the users to keep updated regarding the bike's fuel consumption check, maintenance recommendation, ranking with other users regarding fuel consumption, last parking position, malfunction, and many more.
The new FZ-X is powered by a 149 cc FI Blue Core engine FZ150. This is an air-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 12.2bhp of power at 7,250rpm and 13.6Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm. This engine is linked to a five-speed gearbox.
Interested buyers can book their new Yamaha FZ-X through either their nearest Yamaha showroom or from Yamaha Virtual Gallery. First 200 bookings will get a special Yamaha G-shock. Accessories include tank pad, seat cover, led flasher, chrome mirror, and engine guard
