Yamaha Ray-ZR Hybrid Unveiled

Yamaha unveiled their new Ray-ZR with Hybrid engine on Friday. During the launch event of FZ-X Yamaha showcased all the details regarding the new Ray-ZR.

The new Yamaha Rat-ZR comes in a new neo-retro look and features a new LED headlight at the front, a Bluetooth-connected instrument console, that connects through the Yamaha Motorcycle Connect app, and updated decals on the bodywork. The rest of all the features will be the same as the previous variant.

The Ray ZX is powered by the same 125 cc engine from the new Fascino 125 FI Hybrid. There are two trims of Ray-ZX, the standard Yamaha RayZR, and the RayZR Street Rally. Both will be powered by the same 125 cc fuel-injected engine with battery power assist. Both scooters will also come with Bluetooth connectivity and other features.

Yamaha is upholding their new hybrid engine a lot. This hybrid engine will act as an electric power assist by using the battery to give an instant power to the petrol engine.

Yamaha has revealed much on how much will be the power, but we can expect it to share the same engine specifications from the Fascino 125 FI Hybrid. If that is true, then the engine will have an 8 bhp power with a torque increase to 10.2 Nm from the current 9.7 Nm. As for the pricing and the release date. We can expect the launch pretty soon.
